Çağrı Gürbüz, İlker Çilingir (two friends of mine) and I founded Senardi - an information services company - focused on corporate web projects,
e-commerce applications, innovative value added services and mobile entertainment in June 2001. Here we had a chance to face the challenges of creating one's own brand.
Senardi gave me a unique opportunity of acting as a share holder, business developer, chief technology architect and salesman. Due to heavy financial crisis in Turkey, Senardi
is having hard times rightnow but anyway it's nice to have something on your own :)
In October 2001, I met a guy via an Internet newsgroup. He told me that he was running an ICT news portal and offered me to join forces. I accepted and
now we are running Bilisim Cumhuriyeti together with Volkan Gazioğlu.
Bilisim Cumhuriyeti is one of the most respected ICT news portals now in Turkey, featuring local and foreign upto date ICT news together with value
added reviews and interviews.
