I'm a licensed CMAS 1* diver. I've been skin diving since my
childhood. In 1997, I decided to practice SCUBA diving. I've 20-25 dives upto now. It's simply fantastic !. I'm planning to
practice underwater photography soon.
At the west and south coast of Turkey, there are splendid places for diving.
You can also check out Istanbul Technical University's Underwater Sports Club website for diving activities, cmas courses, underwater rugby and more...

I've always liked latin music. The 180 beats/minute of Salsa can even relive
a dead :) In summer 2000, I took a couple of latin workshops on salsa, merengue and cha cha cha from a Cuban salsera Avilene Arinndell.
She was a great character. After she left for Holland, I continued occasionally with a Colombian
salsero Carlos Paz in 2001. I just do it for fun so I've no intention of being the best salsero on the planet :)

I like 500cc MotoGP races. Valentino Rossi has been dominating
the race track for the past 5 years. Rossi became only the third rider in history to win the premier-class title on five occasions, emulating the achievements of Mick Doohan and Giacomo Agostini and adding to his championships in the 125cc and 250cc classes. He is the best rider I've ever seen after Michael Doohan.
At first, I had more sympanthy for Max Biaggi but Rossi is born for entertainment and he is a great talent.
He proved that it was due to the rider rather than the bike by winning championships both with Repsol-Honda and Yamaha teams. Chances are quite high that he will move to Formula 1 racing in 2007.

I'm very fond of Formula 1 races. McLaren Mercedes had huge
advantage over Ferrari in 1998 and 1999 by Mika Hakkinen but Ferrari has well recovered with Michael Schumacher during 2000-2004. Schumacher has a huge stake in that success but I disliked Schumacher after delibaretely hitting Jacques Villenueve's car
not to loose the championship in 1997.
In 2005, Kimi Raikkonen and Juan Pablo Montoya had better results with McLaren Mercedes but Fernando Alonso won the championship with his Renault.
You see David Coulthard on the left. He is the only driver who won a race after having a plane crash the day before :)

Ever watched K-1 ?
K-1 is a martial arts fighting sport which fuses centuries of tradition from martial arts such as karate, kung fu, tae kwon do and kickboxing (the "K") into a thoroughly modern and electrifying spectator sport, to determine the single best stand-up fighter in the world (the "1").
I'm quite fond of two K-1 figthers; Remy Bonyaski from Holland (right-top) and Alexey Ignashov (right-bottom) from Belarus. They ease the complicated with great technique and skill.
